Bearcats Run Past Purchase (3-0)

The women's volleyball team swept the Panthers of SUNY Purchase College (7, 17, 12) in a non-conference match on Thursday night in Purchase, New York.

The visiting Bearcats posted 36 kills, compared to 16 by the hosts, to walk away with their 10th win of the regular season.

With the exception of falling behind 2-0 in the first and third sets, the Bearcats controlled a majority of the match. 

Stella Chung was tops with 12 kills and Anita Sengara had nine kills.

Sanaa Hadjeb did major damage with a career-high eight aces and added 22 assists.   

Skyla Schoppmeyer led the Panthers with 12 assists.
