Women's Tennis Loses Tough Four Hour Contest to Hunter (5-4)

The women's tennis team and the Hawks of Hunter College played a marathon four hour match on Saturday afternoon at the Billie Jean King U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Hawks took the contest by the narrow score of 5-4 by winning two of three doubles and three of six singles to win the regular season battle.

Hailey Feuer won again, 6-0, 6-0, to improve to a perfect 8-0 record at first singles. She teamed up with Lejla Redzematovic for a quick 8-1 win at first doubles.

The Bearcats also won at the third (Lauren Kraker 6-2, 6-4) and fifth singles (Regina Kelley 6-1, 6-3) in the highly competitive match on a sunny Saturday at the prestigious U.S. National Tennis Center.

The Bearcats will resume their CUNYAC schedule on Tuesday against York College at the recently revised time of 1:00 p.m., also at the U.S. National Tennis Center.
