Women's Volleyball Falls in CUNYAC Semifinal

The women's volleyball team lost in five sets to the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC semifinal match played on Friday night at Hunter College.

The loss eliminates the Bearcats from the tournament and they will now await a possible post-season berth to the ECAC Division III Championship. The field of teams will be announced on Monday afternoon by the ECAC.

The Bearcats started strong by taking the first two sets, but the Bulldogs rallied and won the tie-breaking fifth set by hitting .421 to win in a comeback. 

Anita Sengara left it all on the court tonight with 30 kills in a solid performance.

Sanaa Hadjeb dished out 37 assists and Wai Chang had 22 digs.
