Farmingdale Defeats Bearcats in Women's Tennis Spring Opener

The women's tennis team played the first of three spring matches on Friday afternoon.

The visiting Bearcats traveled to Long Island to take on the Rams from Farmingdale State College.

They suffered an 8-1 loss to their opponent that competes in the Skyline Conference.

Lejla Redzematovic earned the lone point winning at third singles in a comeback, 6-3, 0-6, 10-3.

The Bearcats will resume action on Saturday, April 13, with a 1:00 pm match at Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey.
