Women's Volleyball Splits Rutgers-Newark Tri-Match

The women's volleyball team went 1-1 at the Rutgers-Newark Tri-Match on Saturday at the Golden Dome in Newark, New Jersey.

The host Scarlet Raiders defeated the Bearcats with a strong hitting percentage of .318, which included a torrid .500 in the third set.

The Bearcats bounced back in the second match by sweeping Maritime to raise their early season record to 2-1.
