With the spring semester in the books, the Baruch College Athletic Department has announced that 110 student-athletes have been named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the spring 2020 semester.

To earn a spot on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, the student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of a 3.3 on a 4.0 scale for the semester.

The jump from 80 student-athletes named to the list in the Fall 2019 honor roll to 109 came despite the Coronavirus Pandemic that caused Baruch College to go online-only for the approximately eight weeks of classes. 

"Our student-athletes are students first and they continue to understand with hard work and dedication to their academics, even under the difficult circumstances they can and did endure this semester," said Heather Mac Culloch, Director of Athletics and Recreation.

Mac Culloch added, "It has been a tough part of the course these past two months in NYC and I am proud of our student-athletes, the grit and resolve they have shown and the efforts put forth for their work in the classroom during these unprecedented times.  We are Bearcats!"​
