Women's Volleyball Sweeps Hunter

The women's volleyball team recorded an impressive 25-16, 25-18, 25-16 sweep of the Hawks of Hunter College on Thursday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats hit for a .229 hitting percentage with 37 kills compared to 28 by the visiting Hawks who only hit .095.

The Bearcats took control in the opening set to hand the Hawks their first CUNYAC loss.

Sarah Chung led the attack with 13 kills (.333) and 14 digs.

Ada Cao had sevens kills and Isabella Doring contributed six kills.

Amina Muminovic dished out 29 assists and Sofia Tam had 10 digs in the big home CUNYAC win that keeps the conference standings very competitive.

Alexa Sayson and Mariam Ouattara led the Hawks with nine kills each.
