Bearcats Honor Five Players in Final Regular Season Home Match, Defeat Lehman 9-0

The women's tennis team finished the regular season home portion of their schedule on Saturday evening with 9-0 shutout of the Lightning of Lehman College at the Stadium Tennis Center in the Bronx.

The Bearcats continue undefeated this season after sweeping all three doubles and six singles in tonight's encounter.

Regina Kelley and Erica Sheludenko earned the first team point recording an 8-0 victory at third doubles.

Khilola Rustamova earned her first point recording a 6-0, 6-3 win at sixth singles.

Ava Deguzman is now 9-0 at first singles after winning her encounter 6-0, 6-1.

Natalie Ibelhaupt is 6-0 in singles winning 6-0, 6-1 in the fourth spot.

Prior to the match, the team honored Lauren Kraker, Khilola Rustamova, Wakana Iida, Natalie Ibelhaupt and Arielle Rabizadeh for playing in their final regular season home match.
