Women's Volleyball Splits Sarah Lawrence Tri-Match

The women's volleyball team continued their schedule on Saturday afternoon competing at a tri-match hosted by Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York.

The Bearcats started with a four-set win against the Privateers of SUNY Maritime College.

Sarah Chung totaled 17 kills, followed by Amina Muminovic with 28 assists in the neutral site win. Minami Ebihara had 14 digs and Sofia Tam 12 digs. Julia Perkowski notched six aces.

The Bearcats lost a heart-breaker in five sets to the hosts Sarah Lawrence. Chung was the standout with a Top 5 Baruch all-time performance of 21 kills and 36 digs in a spectacular double-double.

The Bearcats stacked up digs with Tam (26), Ebihara (19), Muminovic (14), Ada Cao (13) and Young Gi Go (10) each recording double-digits.

Perkowski notched a career-high nine kills. Muminovic also added a career-high 40 assists.

The Bearcats will return to the court with a rescheduled match on Tuesday at York College.
