Women's Tennis Runs Past St. Joseph's (LI)

The women's tennis team won all six singles and three doubles en route to a 9-0 shutout of the Golden Eagles of St Joseph's College of Patchogue on Sunday afternoon on Long Island. 

The visiting Bearcats took control early in doubles recording 8-1 and 8-0 wins in the second and third flights.

#1 Ava Deguzman and #6 Natalie Ibelhaupt each won in singles, 6-0, 6-0. #5 Erica Sheludenko also quickly won her singles encounter 6-0, 6-1.

The Bearcats will continue their schedule on Tuesday with a 3:00 p.m. match at the State University of New York at Purchase.
