Women's Volleyball Celebrates Bearcat Appreciation Night!

It was a very busy Friday night in the ARC Arena.

First, the Bearcats honored four special student-athletes who played in their final regular-season home match.

The squad and coaches honored Amina Muminovic, Anesa Feratovic, Minami Ebihara, and Fernanda Zamora for all their hard work to the women's volleyball program at Baruch College.

The Bearcats then took on Skyline first place team Farmingdale State in one of the most exciting and electric home matches of the season.

The visiting Rams won the first two sets (25-12, 25-23), but the Bearcats in a valiant effort and in the spirit of Bearcats' Appreciation Night went on a furious rally to force a fifth-set winning 25-23, 26-24 to go to tie-breaker.

They started off strong jumping out to a 3-0 lead before the visiting Rams rallied back to win 15-11.

It was a tough loss for the team, but one they can build on as the season winds down and CUNYAC playoffs begin on November 1. More information on the playoffs will be coming next week.
