Bearcats Finish Second Place at 2022 CUNYAC Finals

The women's tennis team lost a tough match 5-2 to Hunter College in the 2022 CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Final played on a sunny Thursday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Hawks captured two of the three doubles and three singles for the championship. Per postseason rules, the match was halted upon the first team to score five points.

The Bearcats earned their first point at #1 doubles with Ava Deguzma and Esther Benjamin winning, 8-1.

They earned their second point with Deguzman winning at #1 singles, 6-1, 6-2. 

The Bearcats finish their fall schedule with a 10-5 record.

They will resume action next Spring when they will play a few matches to prepare for the Fall 2023 season.
