Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Women's Volleyball Defeats Brooklyn College in 5-Set Thriller

The women's volleyball team began their CUNYAC schedule on a great note recording a terrific 5-set victory at Brooklyn College on Thursday night.

The visiting Bearcats grinded out a 25-19, 23-25, 25-14, 19-25, 15-13 victory for the win that went down to the final points to decide the CUNYAC match.

Isabella Doring (seven aces) recorded a career-high 17 kills, while Delaney Killeen added nine and Lizaveta Kushner eight.

Sarah Chung posted five aces and 17 digs in an all-around effort. Rookie Caroline Elfner had a season-high 27 digs. 

Xheni Doci (18 assists) and Karen Castro (16 assists) were pivotal in the attack setting up the points.
