The women's tennis team is off to a good start winning their third straight match 9-0 in a CUNYAC contest at Lehman College of the Bronx.

The visiting Bearcats won all three doubles and all six singles for a 9-0 victory in the traditional 9-point format that will be used in CUNYAC matches this season (non-conference matches will use the 7-point system).

Ava Deguzman won her 47th and ongoing Baruch record individual match 6-1, 6-0 in the first singles. She teamed up with Natalie Bergman to win first doubles (8-0).

Aishika Yadav (#3,6-0, 6-0), Maria Calvo (#4, 6-1, 6-0), Jacqueline Moreno (#5, 6-1, 6-1), and Maria Rojas (#6, 6-0, 6-3) all contributed to the win.

The Bearcats will be on the road again on Thursday for a 4:30 p.m. contest at St. Joseph's College of Patchogue on Long Island.
