Women's Volleyball Downs Purchase in Four

The women's volleyball team recorded a four-set victory against the Panthers from SUNY Purchase on Thursday night in Purchase, New York.

The visiting Bearcats recorded a season-high 52 kills and received a career-high 47 assists from Karen Pozo Castro for the difficult non-conference victory against an opponent that competes in the Skyline Conference.

Three players reached double-figure kills led by captain Isabella Doring with 12, followed by Michelle Murillo with 11 and Delaney Killeen with 10.

Karolina Lundqvist (career-high) and Caroline Elfner each had 14 digs. Pei Qiong Ren finished with 11 digs.

Kalyn Cormier was tops for the home team Purchase with 14 kills.
