FULL RESULTS
The men's cross country team continued their busy fall schedule on Saturday morning at the St. Joseph's Invitational, hosted at Sunken Meadow State Park on Long Island.
The meet featured a competitive field of Division II, Division III, and NJCAA programs, offering a strong final test for the Bearcats before next week's CUNYAC Finals.
Baruch placed 10th out of 19 schools in the competitive men's 8K race.
Leading the way for the Bearcats was Luca Shapiro in 45th place overall (44th in team scoring) with a time of 32:52.5, setting the pace for the team on the demanding Sunken Meadow course.
Joshua Joyner was next best and finished 70th overall (63rd in team scoring) with a time of 35:55.0.
Close behind was Brandon Lim, who placed 71st overall (64th in team scoring) with a time of 35:55.1 as the pair crossed the finish line nearly together.
The Bearcats will next compete in the 8K CUNYAC Final on Sunday, October 26, at Van Cortlandt Park in Riverdale, New York.
