Baruch College is proud to announce the appointment of Joseph Campanelli as Assistant Coach of Softball.

Coach Campanelli has 14 years of experience as a softball coach, providing leadership and instruction to student-athletes of various levels.

He is the JV coach at St. John the Baptist in West Islip, N.Y., and Head Coach of the Long Island Rebels Fast-Pitch under 10 and under 18 teams in Bohemia, N.Y.

He also served as softball coach at the Nesconset Athletic Association and Our Lady of Mercy Academy in Syosset, N.Y.

Along with Campanelli's expertise of the game, he also brings experience in areas such as player scouting and travel coordination.

Coach Campanelli's daughter, Bridget, previously played catcher/first base on the Baruch softball team during 2022 to 2025 seasons.

Joseph will work with new head coach Ciro Gentile on all facets of the Baruch softball program.
