The women's volleyball team traveled to Montclair, New Jersey, on Saturday to compete in the Montclair State Tri-Match.
The Bearcats battled hard but dropped both contests, falling to the host Montclair State Red Hawks (25-17, 25-16, 25-12) and the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen (25-17, 25-16, 25-12).
Senior Dibjot Kaur led the Bearcats' attack, recording five kills against Montclair State and a team-high eight kills against Lebanon Valley.
Rookie setter Isabel Torres handed out 10 assists, while Pei Qoing Ren collected eight digs in the Lebanon Valley match.
Against Montclair State, Karolina Lundqvist anchored the defense with eight digs and added four kills on offense.
The Bearcats will return to action on Tuesday with a 7:00 p.m. non-conference match at St. Joseph's University Brooklyn.
