FULL RESULTS
The women's swimming team lost 56-39 to the Hawks of Hunter College on Monday night.
The Bearcats and Hawks were close early but the Hawks pulled away in the final events for the home victory on their Senior Night.
The visiting Bearcats started strong with the 200 yard medley relay team of
Kaetlyn Chavez,
Allyse Alexander,
Kira Chen, and
Ashley Leal winning by nearly 12 seconds with a time of 2:03.05.
Alexander and Chen each picked up two more wins in later events.
Alexander taking first in both the 50 yard free (26.13) and 100 yard butterfly (1:02.26) events.
Chen won the 200 yard IM (2:28.60) and 100 yard backstroke (1:05.52)Â events.Â
The Bearcats will hit the pool again on Wednesday night with a 6:00 p.m. CUNYAC meet at Brooklyn College. Â
