CUNYAC Baseball Player of the Week
Frank Scerra, Baruch (So., 3B, Staten Island, N.Y.)
Across three games, including a conference sweep of Lehman Friday, Scerra batted .636 (7-11) with a .733 on-base percentage and 1.000 slugging percentage while driving in eight runs. He went 3-3 with three walks, two doubles and three RBI against St. Joseph's Brooklyn Tuesday, then in the sweep of the Lightning, went 4-8 with a triple, a walk and five runs driven in.
CUNYAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week
Benjamin Norwood, Baruch (Sr., P, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Norwood allowed a pair of hits and fanned seven in five innings while surrendering one unearned run in an 11-1, five-inning win over Lehman Friday.
CUNYAC Baseball Rookie of the Week
Frank Cundari, CCNY (Fr., C, Brooklyn, N.Y.)
Cundari belted a pair of home runs and batted .500 in three games last week for the Beavers, driving in four runs. He hit a home run in each game in a conference sweep of John Jay Saturday.
CUNYAC Baseball Player of the Week (Honorable Mention)
Erik Rank, CCNY (Sr., RHP/SS, Westwood, N.J.)
At the plate, Rank went 7-15 (.467) with a triple and three RBI and a .529 on-base percentage. He went 4-8 in a Saturday conference sweep of John Jay. On the mound, Rank allowed nine hits and four runs (three earned) and struck out three in a complete game win over the Bloodhounds.
