COLLEGE: Second year on the team...Member of 2009 CUNYAC Championship Team.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Robert F. Kennedy High School in Flushing, New York...Played on varsity baseball team...During his junior year, he was named “Most Improved Player”...During his senior year, he was named “Most Valuable Player”…He also finished his senior season fifth overall in the PSAL in slugging percentage and RBI’s, along with fourth in home runs and third in triples…His team also won the division and lost in the third round of the playoffs during his senior season….Also played varsity soccer.

PERSONAL: Majors in marketing…Son of Jorge and Isabel Altamirano...One Sibling: Luca...Started playing baseball at age 13.
