COLLEGE: Fourth year on the softball team...2005 CoSIDA ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America Nominee with a 3.48 GPA...In 2005, she had eight RBI in 21 games...In 2004, she had one home run and eight RBI in 22 games...Also stole six bases in seven attempts.   

HIGH SCHOOL:  Graduated from DeWitt Clinton High School in 2002...Member of the softball team for two years and a captain her senior year under Coach Smith...Also a member of the bowling and gymnastics teams for one year; captaining the bowling team...Both teams were led by Coach Acutie...Softball team was the 2001 Bronx Champions, and made it to the third round of the city playoffs, finishing their regular season with a 15-0 record...Bowling team finished second in the Bronx Finals in 2002....Honor Roll all four years of high school...Dean's List her sophomore year...Honors Program Graduate.

PERSONAL:  Seryi Esther Betancourt is the daughter of Sergio Betancourt and Esther B. Mojica...Siblings include Sergio and Yokasta.
