Craig Garland will begin his third year as an Assistant Coach and assist Head Coach Jose Torres with all areas of recruiting. Prior to his arrival at Baruch, Craig previously served on the staff at Briarcliffe College.
Craig is a retired NYPD Detective and the father of four sons, his two eldest having played at the college baseball ranks. He has one son still playing, who is a senior catcher at Central Connecticut State University.

Craig volunteers his time running one of the largest little league programs in Long Island, the Massapequa Coast Little League, which has over 1,000 players.

In addition to coaching at Baruch, Craig coaches an U18 baseball team, the Massapequa Cyclones. Through the years, Craig has seen over five dozen of his players go on to play college baseball.
