Maria will begin her first season as an assistant coach.
She is a former student-athlete at Baruch and played one year on the women's volleyball team that recorded 25 wins during the successful 2010 season.
She also played three years on the women's basketball team (2007-08 to 2010-11) and won a championship each season with appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
She graduated from Baruch in 2012 with a degree in History. She is currently pursuing her master's degree in Adolescent Education with a specialization in History at Lehman College.
Maria is planning on being a high school history teacher to help youth reach their full potential.
