    Assistant Men's & Women's Tennis Coach
Dylan Lachmanen is in his first season as an assistant tennis coach at Baruch College.

Dylan is a Brooklyn, New York native whose passion for tennis began at the age of three. Growing up in a multicultural household with a Guyanese father and Puerto Rican mother, Dylan developed a strong appreciation for hard work, discipline, and community, values that continue to shape both his professional and personal life.

A lifelong competitor, Dylan played throughout the junior tennis circuit before continuing his career at Rider University, where he competed as a Division I student-athlete for four years. During his collegiate career, he represented the Broncs in both singles and doubles competition and earned the distinction of serving as team captain during his senior year, demonstrating leadership both on and off the court.

In the classroom, Dylan excelled academically, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Finance and Economics and a certificate in Global Supply Chain Management. Following graduation, he spent a year working as a Financial Professional with New York Life, gaining valuable experience in financial planning and client relations.

Alongside his professional career, Dylan has remained deeply connected to tennis. He has coached players of all ages and skill levels at various clubs throughout Westchester County, helping athletes improve their technical skills, confidence, and love for the game. His coaching philosophy combines high-level competitive experience with a patient and personalized approach to player development.

Dylan is also committed to giving back to the community through his volunteer work with the Highland Park Tennis Association in Brooklyn, a community tennis program founded and operated by his father since 2004. Through this program, he helps introduce young players to the sport and supports opportunities for tennis participation within the local community.
