Danny Goldberg has been named the Baruch Athlete of the Month for November 2014.

This is the first monthly honor for Danny, who was a member of the men’s soccer team that won their third straight CUNYAC Championship on November 8 after defeating Brooklyn, 1-0.

For a complete list of highlights, please read below.

*In the CUNYAC semifinal on November 1, Baruch came in as the underdog with the #4 seed going up against the top-seeded Staten Island but the experienced team advanced with a 2-0 victory that began with an assist off the foot of Goldberg.

*He followed up with an assist in the championship to give the Bearcats a 1-0 victory and the title, along with berth to the NCAA Tournament. For his efforts, he was named 2014 CUNYAC Tournament MVP with five assists on six Baruch goals throughout the championship tournament.

*He finished an outstanding month by being named the CUNYAC Scholar-Athlete of the Month with a 3.662 gpa as a Finance & Investments major.
