Granville Gittens was named the Baruch Athlete of the Month for February 2015.
This is the second monthly honor for the senior from Brooklyn, New York. The 2015 CUNYAC Championship Tournament MVP was previously honored in January 2014.

*Notched a double-double, scoring 12 points and grabbing 13 rebounds, in a Battle of Lexington win versus Lehman (2/5).
*He scored 20 points in a home win versus Staten Island (2/13) to clinch the CUNYAC regular season title.
*Notched month-high 21 points in a CUNYAC Tournament quarterfinal home win versus CCNY (2/22).
*Scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds, while also knocking down a game-winning shot with two seconds left, to defeat York College in the CUNYAC Semifinal (2/25).
*Scored 19 points and nailed a game-tying shot at the buzzer versus Brooklyn to send the game to overtime in the CUNYAC Championship televised on ESPN3. The Bearcats won an eventual exciting double-overtime victory with Gittens earning MVP honors.
*For the Month of February, Granville averaged 15.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game.
*Voted as a CUNYAC First-Team All-Star.
