Cassandra Lagana is the Baruch Athlete of the Month for March 2017.
Lagana had a solid month, posting a 3-1 record on the mound with 11K. At the plate, she was just as successful batting a torrid .520 with nine RBI and 12 runs scored.
This is the first monthly honor for the sophomore from Port Chester, New York.
HIGHLIGHTS
* Batted 3-for-4 with two runs scored against Lancaster Bible (3/3).
* Battled 3-for-4 with an RBI and Triple against Yeshiva (3/21).
* Recorded at least one hit in every game (8) in March.
* On the mound, she pitched wins against Lancaster Bible, SUNY-Cobleskill, and Yeshiva.
