Dima Kamenshchik enters his 21st season with the Baruch College men's soccer program and his eighth as Head Coach.
In 2023, he led the Bearcats to a CUNYAC Championship and an NCAA Tournament berth—marking the third NCAA appearance in the last six seasons under his leadership. He was named CUNYAC Coach of the Year for the first time following the 2022 season, during which the Bearcats won 10 matches and went undefeated in conference play (7-0).
Kamenshchik began his tenure as Head Coach in 2018, immediately guiding the team to a CUNYAC Championship and NCAA berth. Prior to that, he served as Associate Head Coach for 13 seasons (2004–2017), contributing to multiple championship runs. He also played two seasons as a student-athlete at Baruch.
Since joining the program in 2004, Kamenshchik has played a key role in eight CUNYAC Championships (2004, 2006, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2021, 2023), both as Associate Head Coach and Head Coach.
A native of Belarus, Kamenshchik graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn in 1999. He began his college career at New York City College of Technology (City Tech), where he played varsity soccer and served as team captain during his sophomore year. He transferred to Baruch in 2001 and played two seasons for the Bearcats, earning team captain honors in his senior year (2003).
He earned a B.A. in Marketing Management from Baruch in January 2004 and later completed a Master’s in Higher Education from the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at Baruch in 2016.
