The women’s volleyball team defeated the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC match played on Tuesday night in Brooklyn.

The visiting Bearcats won their three sets by the scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-17. They forfeited the first set, due to lateness caused by traffic issues, but easily recovered to raise their record to 21-9 overall and 8-1 in the CUNYAC Standings.

Christina Pierre led the offensive attack with 10 kills, while Carissa Oliveira and Rebecca Peralta totaled eight kills each.

Melinda Santiago dished out 28 assists and Posey Wilson totaled 23 digs to lift the Bearcats to their 10th consecutive victory.

The Bulldogs of Brooklyn College drop to 5-4 in CUNYAC and 11-11 overall on the season.
