The men's tennis team swept all six singles and three doubles to earn a 9-0 CUNYAC victory on Friday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

With the victory, the Bearcats improve to 2-0 in CUNYAC, while the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College drop their season opener for an 0-1 record.

Marcelo Kim recorded a tough victory at #1 singles via a tie-breaker (6-2, 4-6; 10-7), while Tadas Valiukenas was victorious at second singles with the scores of 7-5, 6-1.

The second doubles team of Bryan Adler and Andrew Smith won at second doubles by cruising to an 8-2 score line.

The men's tennis team will continue their schedule tomorrow, Saturday, March 20, with a 12:30 pm non-conference match against Rutgers-Newark at the U.S. National Tennis Center.
