The baseball team suffered a 12-1 non-conference loss to the College of Mount Saint Vincent in a road game played on Thursday night at the College of Staten Island baseball complex.

The home team Dolphins (8-9 record) scored five runs after three innings of play and went on to record the victory with 16 total hits in the annual meeting between the two teams from the CUNYAC and Skyline Conference.

Jules Ryan Alonzo scored the only Baruch (4-7 record) run of the evening in the eight inning of play.

Overall, the Bearcats totaled five hits this evening with Joseph Murray (double), David Chestnut, Thomas Daly, Aldo Altamirano and Manuel Guerrero all reaching base with hits.

The baseball team will return to action and begin their CUNYAC schedule on Saturday, March 27, with a single road game at John Jay College of Criminal Justice. First pitch at the American Legion Complex in Brooklyn is scheduled for Noon.
