The softball team lost to William Paterson University via a pair of shutouts during a non-conference doubleheader played on Friday afternoon in Wayne, New Jersey.

The Pioneers (9-4-1 record) limited the visiting Bearcats to three hits in the first game and six total hits in the second.

Nicole Flint led Baruch (4-10 record) at the plate by batting a total of 4-for-6 with three singles and a double.

The softball team will return to action on Monday, March 29, with a CUNYAC home doubleheader against Lehman College. First pitch at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn is scheduled for Noon.
