The men's tennis team lost a 5-4 CUNYAC home match to the College of Staten Island on Tuesday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The visiting Dolphins (4-4, 2-0 CUNYAC) won two of the three doubles and three of the six singles in a contest played indoors at the tennis center.

The Bearcats were victorious in third doubles behind the play of Steven Zak and Damon Ye, while Aleksandr Kolomiets (#3 singles), Mikheil Sumbatashvili (#4 singles) and Zak (#6 singles) were the three winners in the competitive singles.

The men's tennis team (3-2, 2-1 CUNYAC) will return to action on Friday, April 2, with a CUNYAC road match at 3:30 pm against the Cardinals of York College in Jamaica, New York.
