The men’s soccer team lost a 3-0 CUNYAC road contest to York College on Saturday afternoon in Jamaica, New York.

The two teams each attempted 15 shots, but the home team Cardinals (4-11, 4-3 CUNYAC) did all the scoring with a goal in the first half and two more in the second to record the conference victory. Three different players scored goals for York.

Andriy Sokolov led the Baruch effort (5-6-1, 3-2-1 CUNYAC) with three shots attempted, while Konstantin Reztsov, Arlind Stafaj, Jonas Juozaitis, Andreas Hansson and Ifeanyi Nnoham finished with two shots each.

The men’s soccer team will continue their busy weekend schedule on Columbus Day, Monday, October 10, with a 7:00 pm non-conference contest at SUNY-Maritime from the Skyline Conference.
