The men’s tennis team won all six singles and three doubles encounters to post a 9-0 CUNYAC victory against the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Friday afternoon in Brooklyn, New York.

With the result, the Bearcats improve to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in CUNYAC, while Brooklyn falls to 0-3 overall and 0-2 in CUNYAC.

Lukas Bircic posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory against Vesna Tan in third singles.

Damon Ye also won 6-0, 6-0 against Qing Hui Tan in sixth singles.

The doubles team of Christopher Jenkins and Stephan Muller defeated Vesna Tan/Raymond Chan by the score of 8-1 in second doubles.

The men’s tennis team will continue their busy first week schedule on Saturday, March 19, with a 12:00 pm non-conference match at Rutgers-Newark in Newark, New Jersey.
