The men’s tennis team defeated the State University of New York at Purchase, 6-3, in a non-conference match played on Tuesday evening at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Bearcats (11-1) won their final regular season match by taking four of the six singles and two of the three doubles to defeat their opponents from the Skyline Conference.

Phillip Bleustein, the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week, was victorious again at #3 singles with a score of 6-0, 6-1. Damon Ye and Aliaksei Misitau teamed up at #3 doubles to record an 8-5 victory.

The men’s tennis team will return to action on Saturday, April 30, with a CUNYAC quarterfinal round playoff match against York College. First serve at the York College tennis courts is scheduled for 12:00 pm.
