The men’s tennis team competed this past weekend (September 10-11) at the Round-Robin Fall Drew Classic in Madison, New Jersey.

The Bearcats, host Drew, Manhattanville and Ithaca all gathered for two busy days of official intercollegiate men’s tennis fall competition on the campus of Drew University.

Last year, Drew played in the NCAA Tournament, while Baruch (CUNYAC), Manhattanville (Freedom) and Ithaca (Empire 8) all reached the final of their respective conference championships.

The Baruch men, who generally play their season in the spring, played this past weekend to help prepare for the spring 2012 season.

There was no team scoring, but results involving Baruch are listed down below. The team played very well in second, third, fourth and fifth singles.

The men’s tennis team will return action on Saturday, February 11, with a 2:00 pm non-conference contest at #29 nationally-ranked Vassar College from the Liberty League in Poughkeepsie, New York.
