Bearcats Cruise Past St. Joseph's (LI) in Men's Tennis (8-1)

The men’s tennis team recorded an 8-1 victory over the Golden Eagles from St. Joseph’s College of Patchogue in a non-conference match played on Friday afternoon at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The Bearcats won five of the six singles and all three doubles to post the 8-1 victory over their opponent from the
Skyline Conference.

Guy Goren cruised at #2 singles winning 6-0, 6-0. Stephan Muller won at #4 singles, 6-1, 6-0.

The only point loss came in #1 singles as
Artem Gorbachevskiy narrowly lost in tie-break, 3-6, 6-1, 10-8.

The men’s tennis team will return to action and begin their CUNYAC schedule on Friday, March 16, with a 3:30 pm home match against CCNY at the U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.
