The men's tennis team lost 5-4 to Drew University in a fall non-conference match played on Friday afternoon in Madison, New Jersey.

The Bearcats began the match in positive fashion by winning two of the three doubles for a 2-1 lead. However, Drew won four of the six singles to pull out the 5-4 victory in a very exciting match that will count towards the 2013 spring season record.

Guy Goren and Artem Gorbachevskiy earned the first team point by winning at #2 doubles in tie-breaker, 9-8 (7-3). Philip Bleustein and Samuel Hajibai were victorious at third doubles with the score of 8-6.

Bleustein also won his fifth singles encounter, 5-7, 7-6 (7-4), 10-7. Hajibai ended a magnificent intercollegiate debut by winning at sixth singles, 7-5, 7-6 (7-3).
