The women's volleyball team recorded a 25-4, 25-10, 25-10 sweep of the Cougars of Medgar Evers College on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena.

With the result, the Bearcats even their season record at 14-14 and finish their conference schedule with a perfect 8-0 mark in first place that clinches their sixth all-time regular season conference championship (2013, 2012, 2009, 2005, 1995, 1994) in team history.

The Bearcats, the two-time defending CUNYAC Tournament Champions, will open the defense of their title on Tuesday, November 5, with a home quarterfinal playoff match at 7:00 pm against Medgar Evers.

The entire tournament schedule will be released later this week.

Jessica Kweon totaled three digs, Eleni Efstathiadis had three kills, and Cindy Cui recorded two kills in the home victory.

The Bearcats will finish their regular season schedule this weekend in upstate Oneonta, New York at the Dig Pink Invitational hosted by SUNY-Oneonta.

The team on Friday has matches scheduled at 5:30 pm against Lasell College of Boston, followed at 7:30 pm against Ithaca College.
