The men’s tennis team lost a non-conference match to the Violets of NYU on Tuesday afternoon at the Billie Jean U.S. National Tennis Center in Queens.

The visiting Violets swept the Bearcats in all three doubles for the 3-0 lead. Artem Gorbachevskiy and Joe Laskowski lost a very competitive encounter at #2 doubles, 9-7.

The Violets won at #2 and #5 singles to win the match that was halted upon reaching the fifth point.

The Bearcats will return to action on Friday, April 12 with a very important 3:30 pm CUNYAC road contest at the College of Staten Island Dolphins.
