The women's volleyball team recorded a four set victory (25-20, 25-21, 12-25, 25-18) against the Red Hawks of Montclair State University in the home opener on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.



Senior captain Rebecca Peralta led the victorious attack this evening with 12 kills, 13 digs and two blocks.



McKenzie Davidson notched nine kills and 12 digs, while also adding two blocks.



Sydney Parks, who was named this past weekend to the All-Tournament Team of the Cortland Red Dragon Classic, had another busy night with eight kills and two block solos.



Amy Sung totaled 20 digs and Crystle Dela Cruz established another career-high with 38 assists to help defeat an opponent from the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC).



The women's volleyball team will now enjoy a brief break in their schedule. They resume action next Tuesday, September 10 with a tri-match in the ARC Arena featuring FDU-Florham and Farmingdale State. A complete schedule can be found below.
