Women's Volleyball Falls to Stevens

The women's volleyball team saw their season-high six match winning streak come to an end with a three set loss to the Ducks from the Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday night in Hoboken, New Jersey.

The Ducks recorded scores of 25-11, 25-10, 28-18 to raise their season record to 15-3. The visiting Bearcats fall to 8-9 overall.


McKenzie Davidson led the team this evening with seven kills and three digs. Amy Sung totaled six digs and Crystle Dela Cruz contributed nine assists.

Mary Tobin led the Ducks from the Empire 8 Conference with 15 kills (.577) and five digs.

The Bearcats will look to bounce back on Saturday, October 4 with a tri-match hosted at Haverford College in the suburbs of Philadelphia.

The Bearcats play Gettysburg at 2:00 pm, followed by Haverford at 4:00 pm. Both of these matches will feature live stats and video.


The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) & Athletic Department will host a special pep rally for all athletic teams on Thursday, October 9 at 12:45pm (Club Hours) on the 2nd floor-VC.

Later at 6pm that day, the athletic department will host a free food Tailgate Party on the B3 Level in support of women's volleyball match vs NYU that starts at 7pm.
