Messiah Knocks Off Bearcats in Three

The women's volleyball team had their seven-match winning streak snapped on Saturday afternoon with a 3-0 loss to Messiah College in Grantham, Pennsylvania.

The Falcons of Messiah College from the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) improve to 22-2 overall, while the Bearcats are 14-16 on the regular season schedule.  

Akilah Meulens and McKenzie Davidson each had five kills, while Crystle Dela Cruz finished with 16 assists and nine digs. Amy Sung totaled 11 digs.

The Bearcats will look to bounce back on Thursday, October 22, with a 7:00 pm CUNYAC match at CCNY.
