Women's Volleyball Celebrates Senior Night By Defeating Brooklyn

The women's volleyball team finished the regular season portion of their schedule on Tuesday night in the ARC Arena with a sweep of the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College.

Prior to the match, the team and Head Coach Carrie Thomas honored seniors McKenzie Davidson, Sydney Parks, Nicole Rios, Amy Sung and Crystle Dela Cruz for their years of hard work and sacrifice to the volleyball program.  

The Bearcats then took care of business on the court with a 25-7, 25-10, 25-21 sweep to finish the CUNYAC schedule with an 8-0 record.

Symone Green led the Bearcats in the win with 11 kills, hitting a torrid .474. Davidson had nine kills and Dela Cruz had 25 assists in the win.

The team as first place will host a quarterfinal round contest at home next Tuesday, November 3, at 7:00 pm, against an opponent to be determined.
