Florin Giuglescu Voted Coach of the Year; Jackson-Hing, Vasekina, Arias Named All-Stars

The CUNY Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) has announced the all-stars and top individual award winners for the 2015 fall season.

The head coach and the sports information director at each of the conference schools had a vote in the annual awards.

Florin Giuglescu was named the CUNYAC Coach of the Year after leading the Bearcats to their first CUNYAC Championship since 1997 with an undefeated record of 13-0.

The team had three players honored with Allie Jackson-Hing, Daria Vasekina and Isabel Arias being voted as All-Stars for their championship season.

For the second straight year, Jackson-Hing was also named to the CUNYAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
