The men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 loss to Hunter College in a CUNYAC match on Friday night at Cunningham Park in Queens, New York.

With the result, the Bearcats drop to 6-3 overall and 6-1 in the CUNYAC, which is good for second place.

Sharki Ahmed earned one of the team's two points by winning his sixth singles encounter, 7-6 (7-3), 3-6, 10-5. Allen Meyerovich won at fifth singles, 6-3, 6-0.

The Bearcats will turn their attention next to the CUNYAC Championship Tournament that will begin on Friday, April 24. The conference will announced the entire tournament schedule early next week.
