The softball season came to end this afternoon in the CUNYAC playoff round at Brooklyn College.

The sixth-seeded Bearcats lost an 11-0 contest to the third-seeded Bulldogs in five innings.

The Bulldogs scored three runs in the first inning and finished off the home win in the fourth inning with five more runs en route to the shutout.

The team was limited to three hits with singles by Victoria Dolan, Jacqueline Gioia, and Kristen Podlovits.

Dolan and Gioia each recorded their singles in the first inning, but the team was unable to score to suffer the tough postseason loss.
