Bearcats Sweep Cougars in CUNYAC Match

The women's volleyball team swept the Cougars of Medgar Evers College in a CUNYAC home match on Thursday night in the ARC Arena.

The Bearcats recorded 25-5, 25-12, 25-8 scores to enter into a first place tie with Hunter in the CUNYAC standings at 4-0.

McKenzie Davidson led all Bearcats with six kills and five digs. Alessandra Chavez had five kills and six aces, while CUNYAC and ECAC Metro Libero of the Week Amy Sung finished with 18 digs. Tara Imbrenda had a career-high 18 assists.

Kalifa Roberts led the visiting Cougars with three kills.

The women's volleyball team will return to action on Saturday, September 26, with a home tri-match in the ARC Arena. They will start play versus NYU at 11:00 am, followed by Haverford vs NYU at 1:00 pm and Baruch vs Haverford at 3:00 pm.
